AD Ports Group seeks a Manager, Construction to supervise all construction activities, ensure HSE excellence, enforce quality, and drive on time delivery in Abu Dhabi onsite. The role requires strong governance with group policies and stakeholders and effective management of site interfaces and cross project dependencies. You will monitor risks, implement mitigation plans, and prepare management reports on ports construction performance and improvement initiatives based on data analysis. As a leader you will develop teams, close skill gaps, foster a collaborative culture among consultants, contractors and operations, and build strategic relationships to support continuous improvement. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or project management is required; a master’s is a plus.


Provide oversight on all construction activities across their programme. 

  • Provide HSE oversight and enforcement for all construction activities across the project and the promotion of a positive HSE culture.

  • Manage all construction activities across the assigned projects to enable successful delivery.

  • Oversight and enforce construction quality for all construction activities across the project.

  • Responsible for construction compliance of projects to group governance, external stakeholder, and cluster requirements.

  • Manage site interfaces and dependencies across projects and sites.

  • Monitor construction risks, resolve issues and update mitigation plans. 

  • Prepare reports to the management for all Ports construction related matters and present performance improvement initiatives based on current activities, data analysis and forecasting study

  • People Management Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage interfaces between site-based consultants, contractors, supply chains, operational teams, and various project stakeholders. 

  • Develop and maintain a positive and collaborative culture between project teams, supply chain and other stakeholders for the betterment of the AD Ports group. 

  • Provide strong and visionary leadership, supervision, and guidance to the team, setting clear expectations and creating a culture of accountability.

  • Identify skill gaps and training requirements for the teams to ensure consistent high performance. rent activities, data analysis and forecasting study.

  • Strategic Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with other projects, suppliers, consultants, and contractors.

  • Support the development and continuous improvement of departmental working practices.

  • Identify and support improvement initiatives

     

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
