The Role

We are currently looking for a Manager, FC Solutions & Innovation to join our Financial Crime (FC) Solutions team. This is a key role responsible for driving the execution of data analytics and technology initiatives that enhance our financial crime capability across Crown’s operations.

This role will collaborate closely with FC Operations, FC Risk, and our internal technology and data teams to ensure our tools and systems remain effective, compliant and aligned with emerging best practice.

This role also provides the opportunity to mentor analysts and help shape the future of FC capability uplift at Crown.

You will be responsible for:

  • Manage Crown’s automated transaction monitoring (TM) system, including rule calibration, system performance and ongoing optimisation in line with AML requirements.
  • Lead data analytics and data visualisation activities to support FC detection, reporting and decision‑making.
  • Drive advanced analytics initiatives, including machine learning models, to enhance risk identification and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct quality assurance over analytics outputs to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Assess the effectiveness of FC data and technology solutions and recommend improvements.
  • Stay across emerging data analytics methods, tools and industry best practices to identify new opportunities for innovation.
  • Undertake market research and vendor shortlisting for potential new FC solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Head of FC Solutions & Innovation on capability uplift initiatives across the FC function.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

About You

  • Extensive hands‑on experience using tools such as SQL, Splunk, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering financial crime data analytics initiatives within financial services and/or gaming.
  • Advanced data analytics experience, including use of analytics tools, risk scoring, TM calibration and reporting.
  • Advanced financial crime and risk management knowledge.
  • Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement, communication and reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to obtain required Casino Employee Licences (Melbourne, Sydney, Perth).
