XPENG is looking for a Marketing Manager/ Supervisor to join its ANZ team in Melbourne. This full-time, onsite role supports the Head of Marketing ANZ and helps shape campaigns across Australia and New Zealand. The company’s ANZ marketing focus sits in Melbourne, and the team collaborates with retailers, agencies and event partners to build brand presence and drive customer engagement in the region. If you enjoy hands-on coordination, content creation, and working across cross-functional teams to execute campaigns, this could be a fit.

In this role you’ll be at the center of the action, keeping day-to-day marketing moving by coordinating calendars, launch timelines and work-in-progress documents, taking notes in meetings, and helping with budget tracking, purchase orders and invoice processing. You’ll ensure approvals and deadlines stay on track while keeping internal stakeholders in the loop. A big part of the job is staying on top of competitor activity and market updates to inform what the team does next, plus helping with basic performance insights.

On the content side, you’ll help manage XPENG Australia and New Zealand’s social channels and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube. You’ll contribute to a weekly content calendar featuring product highlights, technology content, user-generated posts and trend-led moments, while crafting copy tailored to Australian and New Zealand audiences. You’ll work with internal teams and agency partners to produce light-weight content, including short-form videos, photo edits, reels, stories and social-first assets, with basic skills in tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, Adobe Suite or similar. You’ll also help identify strong user-generated content and suggest opportunities to amplify it.

Day-to-day rhythm in the ANZ marketing hub

Day-to-day responsibilities include keeping the wheels turning on campaigns, ensuring assets, approvals and deliverables move through the process on time, and supporting budget-related tasks and supplier coordination. You’ll monitor market trends and share timely updates to the team, helping XPENG stay relevant in a fast-changing space. The role requires regular collaboration with retailers, event partners and internal stakeholders to coordinate campaigns, showrooms and local area marketing activities.

When it comes to social and content, you’ll manage posting schedules, publish across approved XPENG channels, and maintain a content calendar that balances product storytelling with technology content and lifestyle moments. You’ll write platform-native copy in AU/NZ English and support lightweight content production, including video, photos and social-right assets. You’ll also monitor community interactions, responding to comments, DMs, tags and mentions in a brand-appropriate way, and escalate customer sentiment or recurring feedback where needed. Tracking and reporting form part of the routine, with weekly and monthly updates on sentiment and performance.

There’s also a website and CRM element to the role. You’ll help keep XPENG Australia and New Zealand sites up to date, ensure content stays current and aligned with campaigns, and assist with CRM and campaign communications, including newsletters and updates. Localization for AU/NZ markets and basic campaign setup with asset coordination and light performance tracking round out the day-to-day, alongside general marketing operations and event support.

Tips to stand out for this XPENG ANZ role

Put your marketing and social media experience up front on your resume, especially roles where you coordinated calendars, agency partners and campaign deliverables. Highlight 2–5 years of relevant work and any cross-functional collaboration you’ve done with retailers or events.

When you demonstrate the must-have skills, point to concrete examples: personal or professional social accounts you’ve managed, links to AU/NZ copy you’ve written, and any short-form video you’ve produced or adapted for TikTok, Reels, or Shorts. If you can show Canva or Adobe work, attach a brief portfolio or case study.

For interviews, be ready to talk through a weekly content calendar you’ve managed, how you spot trends and decide what to post, and how you measure impact using basic metrics like reach, engagement, follower growth and video views. Have a few quick stories ready about coordinating with agencies or retailers to push a campaign from concept to live date.

Ask a targeted question during the interview about how XPENG ANZ aligns its social content and events with broader XPENG markets, and what success looks like for the Head of Marketing ANZ in the first six months. This shows you’re thinking about both local impact and regional strategy.
