Planning and Logistic Manager(Australia)
XPENGXPENG, the overseas business segment, is looking for a Planning and Logistic Manager(Australia) to join its Melbourne team. The full-time, onsite role is ideal for someone who wants to shape vehicle logistics in Australia from the ground up and thrive in a cross-cultural setting. If you enjoy coordinating complex supply chains and leading a dedicated logistics function, this could be a strong fit.
The position centers on steering the end-to-end flow of XPENG’s vehicle logistics in Australia, ensuring shipments move smoothly from origin to customer. You’ll work closely with headquarters and local teams to align processes with global standards while obeying Australian regulations, all while supporting the company’s sales targets. The role promises tangible ownership over the local logistics system and plenty of opportunities to introduce digital tools that improve how things get done.
This opportunity suits someone who has a track record in automotive logistics, appreciates cross-cultural collaboration, and can navigate the fast-changing Australian market with pragmatism and precision.
Steering the Australian vehicle logistics engine
You’ll oversee the full spectrum of vehicle logistics operations in Australia, from transportation and warehousing to customs clearance and the final-mile delivery. In practice, that means shaping a reliable, cost-conscious flow that keeps vehicles moving on time and in good order. You’ll also be responsible for building and refining the local logistics system so it supports steady sales growth and efficient service.
A core part of the job is selecting, evaluating, and developing local providers, transport companies, warehousing partners, and customs brokers, to lift service quality while tightening cost control. You’ll balance supplier performance with the need for predictable operations, creating a resilient network for the Australian market.
Coordinating with both the HQ and local teams, you’ll ensure that logistics processes meet the Group’s global standards while complying with Australian laws and regulations. You’ll participate in planning and executing the annual logistics budget and push for digital, information-based management tools within the Australia logistics system to improve visibility and decision-making.
Handling logistics emergencies, like transport delays, customs risks, or customer complaints, will be part of keeping the supply chain stable. Finally, you’ll lead and develop a cross-cultural team to raise the subsidiary’s overall logistics capabilities and readiness for future growth.
