SGS is seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector to support a TC Energy project in British Columbia. This on-site, full-time role requires acting as the company’s authorized representative to oversee mechanical construction and monitor contractor and vendor performance on turbo machinery installations, including gas generators, power turbines, gas compressors, exhaust and fuel gas skids. Key tasks include reviewing quality plans and ITPs, ensuring work meets specs and safety requirements, monitoring alignment and grouting, and participating in safety meetings and turnover events. Ideal candidates have Journeyperson Millwright certification, Baker Hughes gas turbine experience, and 5+ years in mechanical inspection; OEM exposure and TC Energy familiarity are a plus.
