NOC Specialist
FibrusFibrus is looking for a NOC Specialist to join an onsite, full-time team in Dargan. This role will sit at the heart of a high-profile telecoms project, serving as the first point of technical contact for customers and driving rapid resolution of faults and outages.
The role lives in the telecoms space and centers on FTTP deployments. It’s crafted for hands-on problem-solvers who enjoy coordinating with the installations crew and other parts of the organization to keep services up and customers informed.
Shaping the day-to-day in the NOC
You’ll back the installations team during FTTP deployments, quickly pinpointing end-user faults and routing issues to the right specialists. Part of the routine is monitoring critical alarms and outages and providing timely updates to the wider business and to customers. You’ll own incident tickets from start to finish, ensuring they’re resolved within service levels, and you’ll lend a hand to other teams by handling faults over the phone. In addition to order management, you’ll help train new colleagues and share your knowledge with junior team members, while contributing to NOC projects and acting as an escalation point for more complicated technical faults.

Advice for applicants
Lead with your NOC experience and FTTP deployment work at the top of your resume so recruiters see the relevant background first.
When you describe past roles, highlight incidents you owned, how you tracked tickets through to resolution, and instances where you met service levels.
In interviews, be prepared to walk through a major outage you helped coordinate, explain how you handled critical alarms, and share how you’ve mentored colleagues or contributed to training initiatives.
Ask about how the team prioritizes NOC projects and what the escalation path looks like for complex faults, plus what success will look like in the first 90 days on the job.
