As a Casual Sales Assistant, the aim is to help the store run smoothly and deliver an outstanding shopping experience. You’ll keep the store looking sharp and welcoming, represent the brand with pride, and prioritise health, safety and wellbeing in everything you do.

Day to day, you’ll support store operations, process transactions efficiently across different payment methods, and keep the sales floor clean, organised and well stocked. You’ll stay up to date on product features, promotions and pricing so you can offer helpful, accurate guidance, and you’ll assist with setting up promotions and displays to drive sales and enrich the customer journey.

The role offers NZD 46,000.00 – NZD 48,000.00 per year for a part-time seasonal schedule. It is an onsite role in Wanaka, with a Monthly Bonus Scheme tied to performance and a 50% colleague discount across Mountain Warehouse and Animal, plus a twice-yearly uniform allowance. You’re entitled to up to 20 days of annual leave per year based on a 5-day work week, and there are additional perks like a colleague referral incentive and length-of-service awards in a stable, supported environment. Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
