Tips to stand out for this role
Lead with your Fusion GL experience by putting your 12+ years of total work in the spotlight, along with concrete examples of Oracle Fusion Financials implementations and GL allocations you’ve steered. If you’ve worked with offshore teams, call that out with a short case showing how you coordinated timelines, priorities, and outcomes across locations.
When you prove the must-haves, tie each item to a specific project. Describe a Fusion GL configuration you designed or a GL allocation model you implemented, and mention how you collaborated with business users to agree on the approach and how you communicated progress to stakeholders.
Be prepared to discuss real-world scenarios in interviews, such as how you handled cross-module integration between Fusion GL and other financial modules, and how you maintained data integrity and audit trails during a big rollout. Have a short, clear explanation ready for your approach to coordinating with offshore resources and ensuring deliverables stay aligned with business priorities.
Ask a thoughtful question that shows you’re thinking about the delivery model and scale. For example: how often the team runs parallel offshore/onshore sprints on Fusion GL projects, what typical GL allocation scenarios are most common, and where the role would have the most impact in the next 12 months.
