Orchard - Content Creator
Enero GroupOrchard, a creative agency under the Enero Group, is expanding its team in Sydney. They partner with ambitious brands to deliver content that educates, entertains, and earns real business results. The studio atmosphere blends curiosity, craft and strategy to create work that resonates with audiences.
The role is a hands-on Content Creator for social media, focused on pet-centered content. You’ll craft material that speaks to passionate pet owners, producing work across social channels that educates, entertains, and drives action. The work spans three brands across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn, with a goal to connect with US audiences while translating science into human health stories for Australians.
Embedded in Orchard’s strategy team, you’ll be the creative engine behind the social presence, guiding everything from ideation and scripting to filming, editing and performance tracking, all on site in Sydney. You’ll collaborate with strategists, art directors, copywriters and account managers at Orchard, plus client stakeholders, to ensure the output stays on-brand and genuinely engaging.
Storytelling on social, pets in the spotlight
Day to day, you’ll own the organic social content plans for three brands and lead the end-to-end production of short-form videos tailored to each brand voice. Expect a lot of hands-on shooting and editing, with an eye for a cohesive visual style across colour, typography, pacing and treatment that fits established brand guidelines. You’ll explore the use of AI tools to scale creative production and you’ll need to be comfortable filming with dogs and cats as a recurring star, while still delivering punchy captions and scripts for social posts. You’ll monitor platform trends and formats, identify topics that boost organic reach, and report on performance to keep content fresh and effective. You’ll also schedule posts, publish content across platforms, and look for opportunities to feature user-generated content from the community.
Beyond production, you’ll contribute to strategic discussions and support the client relationship. You’ll work with internal and external partners, including influencers and brand ambassadors, to diversify outputs and maintain a strong, on-brand presence across channels. You’ll build and maintain relationships with the client team, representing Orchard’s creative standards in every touchpoint.
What you’ll bring to the table
Key requirements focus on a proven ability to tell stories that stop thumbs and earn shares, with hands-on experience in social content creation and a strong body of work to prove it.
- A minimum of three years creating content for social media, user-generated content, or a related creative field
- A compelling portfolio of short-form video work that you’ve created or featured in (essential to apply)
- Deep, practical knowledge of TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, with hands-on content creation rather than passive consumption
- Proficiency with video editing tools for mobile-first workflows (Capcut or similar, Edits, or equivalent) and desktop tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma is a plus
- Experience with AI image or content generation platforms, plus a proactive attitude toward adopting new tools and trends
- Comfort working independently and juggling multiple deliverables in a fast-moving environment
- Strong written communication skills, able to craft sharp hooks, captions and scripts
- A genuine love of pets and an ability to connect authentically with pet-owner audiences
- Experience with brands and guideline adaptation, ensuring tone and style suit different voices
Bonus points if you’ve worked on US market accounts or with global brand campaigns, have a healthcare or animal-health background, or have agency-side experience in multi-stakeholder settings.

Advice for applicants chasing this role
Lead your resume with a standout sample of short-form content that demonstrates your ability to craft social-native videos for multiple brands, especially if pets or healthcare topics are involved. Include showreels or links to content you’ve created for pet audiences or healthcare-adjacent topics to prove the must-have experience.
When you present your skills, connect them to the job’s must-haves: show how you’ve used TikTok, Instagram and Facebook creatively, detail your editing toolset (Capcut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.), and share examples where you’ve used AI tools to accelerate production. If you have brand guideline experience, highlight how you’ve adapted your style to fit different voices while maintaining a cohesive look.
In interviews, be ready to talk through a recent pet-focused project, from concept and scripting to filming and post-production, and discuss how you measured its impact and learned from the results. Bring a plan for how you’d approach content for three brands and how you’d balance creative ambition with performance data.
Think of a smart question to ask during the interview that ties back to the role, such as how the three brands divide content across platforms, how the team evaluates success across pet-owner audiences in the US and Australia, or how AI-assisted production might evolve workflows over the next year.
