Wilson Parking Australia 1992 Pty is seeking a Senior Performance Analyst to join its Sydney team on a full-time, onsite basis. As part of the Wilson Group, the company runs Australia’s largest parking portfolio and relies on leading technology and a service mindset to support millions of customers. The culture preserves a family‑business feel while encouraging career growth and fostering an inclusive, collaborative workplace.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to move beyond simply crunching numbers and instead translates data into concrete business actions across Finance, Commercial, Pricing and Operations.

Based in Sydney, with Perth location considered for the right candidate, the position offers free parking onsite and a competitive salary package.

Turning numbers into strategy

The role sits at the crossroads of Finance, Commercial, Pricing and Operations, analyzing financial and operational performance across leased and managed assets nationwide. You’ll keep an eye on revenue trends, occupancy shifts, yield, profitability and lease costs, while helping stakeholders understand what the data means and what actions should follow.

Crucially, this role isn’t about producing more reports; it’s about building reporting frameworks, dashboards and performance packs that teams actually use. You’ll collaborate with Finance, Commercial and Business Intelligence to raise reporting quality and cut out unnecessary manual steps.

Connecting information from different systems is a big part of the job. You’ll bring together financial, operational and asset-management data to create a reliable single source of truth that supports decisions across the portfolio, continually seeking ways to streamline and automate processes.

Whether it’s a pricing initiative, a portfolio review, forecasting exercise or other commercial project, you’ll supply the financial analysis and modelling needed to guide decisions. You’ll regularly engage with senior stakeholders and have to explain complex analysis in practical terms, not just technically accurate charts.

What the team needs from you

Here's the baseline the team is looking for:

  • Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance, Financial Analysis or Performance Reporting roles
  • Strong analytical ability with advanced Excel skills and practical exposure to Power BI, Tableau or comparable tools
  • Demonstrated ability to build dashboards, reporting frameworks and performance reporting packs
  • Skill in merging multiple data sources into clear, commercially meaningful insights
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and business performance management activities
  • Solid stakeholder management with the confidence to work with senior leaders in operations, commercial and finance
  • Curiosity that leads to spotting trends, risks and opportunities within large datasets
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field

Nice to have

  • Experience in property, transportation, retail, hospitality or asset-intensive industries
  • Exposure to portfolio management, pricing, commercial analysis or multi-site operations environments
  • Experience improving reporting processes through automation and standardisation

Pay, benefits and practical details

The role is based in Sydney with a Perth location considered for the right candidate. It is a full-time permanent position, with free parking onsite and a competitive salary package.

Work is onsite, and the company emphasises a culture that recognises insight and collaboration within a finance function that has high visibility across the business.

Advice for applicants

Lead your resume with your FP&A or performance reporting experience, and show how you’ve driven decisions rather than just prepared numbers.

Demonstrate your must-have skills with concrete examples: describe a project where you built dashboards or performance packs in Power BI, Tableau or a similar tool, and how those outputs influenced a business decision.

In interviews, be ready to walk through a real scenario where you connected data from disparate sources to produce a practical recommendation that senior leaders could act on, and explain the story behind the numbers in clear terms.

When you interview, ask about the first priority for the Senior Performance Analyst role, whether it’s a pricing initiative, a portfolio review or a forecasting exercise, and what success looks like in the first quarter. You could also inquire about how the team plans to integrate data across financial, operational and asset-management systems in the near term.
