XPeng Motors, a Chinese electric-vehicle manufacturer with an overseas business division, is looking for an OTD & Sales Planning Specialist/Manager-UK to join its London team. This full-time, onsite role is built for someone who can own the end-to-end delivery flow and partner with multiple departments to keep vehicle handovers smooth and on schedule. If you enjoy turning complex logistics into clean, reliable processes and lifting the customer experience, this could be a good fit.

In this role, you’ll shape how vehicles move from the port through pre-delivery inspection, logistics, and dealer networks to customers in the UK. You’ll coordinate new vehicle delivery plans, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery, while developing SOPs, quality standards and delivery checklists that raise consistency and quality. You’ll also design and run premium customer delivery ceremonies that reinforce the XPeng brand, and take ownership of delivery issues like damages or quality problems by driving cross-department collaboration to close the loop. A data-driven approach will underpin the work, with a KPI system to monitor performance and ongoing process improvements. You’ll track overseas monthly production schedules and organise planning and order review meetings, handling follow-up on meeting documents and outcomes, and you’ll support HQ as needed with production scheduling and sales data analysis for XPeng Motors.

This is a match for someone with a background in automotive delivery, logistics, supply chain, or 4S store management, a relevant degree, and the ability to communicate in both Chinese and English. The role sits in London and is intended for a hands-on professional who can blend operations know-how with strong cross-cultural collaboration.

Keeping the wheels turning from port to customer

You’ll own the local delivery flow end to end, making sure that vehicles move smoothly from the port through PDI and logistics to dealers and, finally, to customers, with timelines that stay intact. You’ll plan new vehicle arrivals, coordinate scheduling, and allocate resources so on-time delivery becomes the norm. Building practical SOPs, quality standards and delivery checklists will be part of your daily work, ensuring every handoff meets XPeng’s criteria and customers receive consistent, high-quality service. You’ll also design and run a refined delivery ceremony to reinforce the brand experience and handle any delivery damages, quality issues or complaints by bringing together colleagues from different teams to resolve them efficiently. A KPI-driven mindset will push you to analyse data and refine processes, turning insights into concrete improvements. On the oversight side, you’ll monitor overseas monthly production schedules and sort through sales, production, export and logistics data to keep the UK delivery status aligned, while organising planning and order review meetings and ensuring clear follow-up on outcomes. Additionally, you’ll assist HQ in shaping production scheduling processes and use sales data to support broader production and sales-management activities for XPeng Motors.

What you’ll need to bring to the delivery leadership

The following requirements describe the baseline for this role, not merely a wish list.

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in logistics management, supply chain management, vehicle engineering, or a related field
  • At least five years of hands-on experience in automotive delivery, logistics, supply chain, or managing a 4S store
  • Familiarity with local vehicle import procedures, port operations, and local logistics rules is preferred
  • Experience leading a team and working across departments
  • Strong communication skills in Chinese and English

Tips for making your mark in XPeng UK's delivery leadership

Lead with your education and the bulk of your relevant experience. Put your degree in logistics, supply chain, vehicle engineering or a closely related field up front, and immediately highlight your five years of work in auto delivery, logistics or a 4S store. If you have direct exposure to UK import procedures, port work or local regulations, call that out early so the hiring team sees the fit fast.

Show how you’ve led teams and collaborated across functions. Give concrete examples of driving SOPs, delivery checklists, and KPI systems, and tie them to improvements in process consistency or delivery quality. Even without numbers, describe the scope of the teams you managed and the cross-department projects you steered.

Be ready to talk through end-to-end delivery scenarios. The panel will want to hear how you’ve handled coordinating overseas production schedules, sorting sales and logistics data, and organising planning and order-review meetings, plus how you follow up on outcomes to close the loop with other parts of the business.

Ask a focused question about success metrics and collaboration. A good topic is how XPeng defines success for the UK delivery role and how this position interacts with HQ production scheduling, so you understand the expectations and the impact you’ll deliver in collaboration with global teams.
