Lead with your certification and any direct results you’ve helped clients achieve. If you’re not yet certified, state clearly that you’re ready to pursue a nationally recognized Personal Training credential within 75 days, and mention any related coursework or hands‑on training you’ve completed.
Demonstrate how you’ve assessed clients’ health histories and built personalised plans. Be ready to share a specific example of turning a client’s goals into a measurable program, including how you track progress and adjust the plan as needed.
Prepare to talk about your coaching approach and how you work with others. Use a concrete instance of guiding a client to improve performance or adherence, and describe how you handle feedback, setbacks, and motivation to keep momentum.
Think of questions that tap into the role’s real support system. Ask about how the pre‑designed specialty programs and marketing materials help you grow your client roster, and inquire about the kinds of ongoing training and career paths available within GoodLife Fitness.
