Are you a self-motivated team player? We are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and professional Plant Supervisor to join our team at our Collingwood & Port Melbourne Concrete Plants.  The successful candidate will be someone who is passionate about safety, results focused, possesses a strong work ethic, the ability to multi-task and demonstrates strong communication skills.

Candidates from all industries (i.e. hospitality, logistics, agriculture, supply chain, commerce, fast food, manufacturing, mining, health) are encouraged to apply – we are looking for great people with a positive can-do attitude and we'll teach the rest! Batching or concrete experience is great, but not a pre-requisite.
 

In your new role with us, you will:

  • Enjoy leading teams, supervising a diverse workforce, and striving to successfully achieve goals

  • Manage batching and loading of Heidelberg Materials fleet for delivery to our valued customers, whilst maintaining consistency and quality

  • Make decisions that impact the overall performance of the business in collaboration with the Supply Chain Team

  • Actively influence safety behaviours in the plant through positive feedback and safety conversations

  • Ensure cycle time through plants is as efficient as possible

  • Oversee safe maintenance activities in accordance with company requirements

  • Participate actively in site and operational meetings
