e.construct, a fast-growing engineering firm with 7 offices around the world, is hiring a detail-minded Procurement Specialist to join the onsite team in Dubai, AE. The company focuses on elegant engineering solutions for complex challenges and relies on a holistic design process driven by engineers from multiple disciplines. The procurement role sits in a small but energetic team that partners closely with Finance and other departments to keep buying processes smooth and compliant. If you enjoy hands-on procurement work and collaborating across functions, this could be a good fit.

e.construct designs structures such as bridges, high-rise design, commercial facilities design, precast concrete engineering, and post-tensioning design. The firm operates as a multi-disciplinary engineering design practice with specialised work in structural, MEP and Geotechnical fields, plus emerging construction technology like 3D printing of concrete and 3D laser scanning.

The role is built for someone who thrives in a practical, cross-functional environment and wants a direct line to impact through day-to-day procurement activity, working closely with the Finance team and colleagues from Engineering, Operations and Creative groups.

Day-to-day at the crossroads of buying and partnering

You’ll run the day-to-day procurement operations, handling requisitions and purchase orders in NetSuite/Oracle ERP and keeping vendor records up to date while ensuring requests move through approvals promptly. In practice this means you’ll shepherd the intake of needs, move them through the approval chain, and maintain clean, compliant records so purchasing flows stay efficient.

Beyond administering transactions, you’ll support sourcing, negotiation and contracting with suppliers. You’ll keep a vendor database current, monitor supplier performance and help with supplier evaluations, while following up on quotations, deliveries and order confirmations to avoid delays. You’ll also help ensure procurement activities align with company standards and policies as the business grows.

On the financial side you’ll work with the Finance team on invoice verification, payment schedules and reconciliation, tracking the journey from purchase order to payment and resolving any mismatches. You’ll prepare reporting on procurement spend, cost savings and budget adherence to keep leadership informed and to support smarter purchasing decisions. Across a multi-diverse team, you’ll provide administrative and operational support to the Procurement Manager and help drive continuous process improvements that boost efficiency.

What you’ll need to bring to the role

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field
  • Between 1 and 3 years of procurement experience, ideally within a small to mid-sized team
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite or Oracle ERP is required
  • Strong coordination and communication skills for working with Finance and other teams
  • High attention to detail, good organisational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Basic knowledge of procurement policies, compliance and vendor management best practices

Where and how you’ll work

The position is full-time and onsite in Dubai, AE. Specific schedule details aren’t listed, but the role clearly requires being on location to collaborate with the internal team in person.

Advice for applicants

Lead with NetSuite or Oracle ERP prominently on your resume, since the role requires hands-on work in those systems every day.

Demonstrate how you’ve coordinated with Finance and other departments by pointing to concrete examples of cross-functional projects, especially where procurement data fed budgeting or reporting.

In interviews, be ready to walk through a typical PO-to-payment workflow, describe how you verified invoices and resolved discrepancies, and share how you track spend against budget and report cost savings.

Ask a thoughtful, role-specific question such as how NetSuite/Oracle is used across departments to drive supplier evaluations and how procurement data informs design decisions and project outcomes.
