In this role, you'll:
Lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of change initiatives that support significant transformation programs and projects across the Finance, Technology and Commercial (FTC) division. You will drive business readiness and adoption by identifying and managing impacts across people, processes, systems and customer outcomes, ensuring change is successfully embedded into business operations.
You will work closely with project teams, business leaders and subject matter experts to understand change impacts, identify risks and implement practical change strategies that support successful transitions while minimising operational disruption.
You will translate change approaches into clear and actionable plans, delivering stakeholder engagement, readiness, communication and adoption activities that build commitment and confidence throughout the change journey.
A key aspect of the role is influencing outcomes through collaboration. You will build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups, facilitate workshops and engagement forums, and provide trusted advice on change management methodologies, frameworks and tools.
Operating within Transport's Enterprise Change Management Service Model, you will contribute to the ongoing maturity of change capability by sharing lessons learned, identifying improvement opportunities and supporting capability uplift through the Enterprise Change Centre of Excellence and Change Resource Hub.
You will monitor and report on change progress, risks and outcomes, using feedback and insights to continuously improve the effectiveness of change activities and project outcomes.

About you
You are an experienced change professional who can clearly articulate the project, technology or business transformation initiatives you have supported and the impact your work helped achieve. You understand how to move beyond planning activities to drive meaningful stakeholder engagement, business readiness and sustainable adoption outcomes. You will also be willing to lead a team of change practitioners, willing to work coach and mentor peers.
You’ll bring:
Demonstrated experience delivering change management activities across technical and non-technical projects within complex organisational environments.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility across a broad range of stakeholders, including on complex and sensitive matters.
Experience assessing change impacts and developing practical strategies that support readiness, engagement and adoption.
Strong facilitation and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex information into clear and meaningful messages for different audiences.
The ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional environments while managing competing priorities and delivering outcomes in fast-paced project settings.
The ability to lead a team comprising of Project Change Analysts and Project Change Coordinators.
Sound knowledge of recognised change management methodologies, frameworks and tools and their practical application within project and transformation environments.
A continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to share knowledge and contribute to organisational change capability.
Essential requirements:
Qualification in Change Management (Prosci® preferred), related discipline, and/or equivalent demonstrated experience delivering change initiatives within complex environments.
Desirable:
Prosci® Certification or equivalent industry-recognised change management qualification.
Project delivery or project management qualifications such as PRINCE2®, PMP or similar.
