About the Role

We’re currently looking for a Project Communications Manager to join our Public Affairs team in Melbourne on a 12‑month Max‑Term Contract. This role plays a key part in supporting major transformation and change programs across Crown, helping deliver clear, engaging and timely communication that supports our people through every stage of the journey.

Reporting to the General Manager, Corporate Communications, you’ll work closely with project leads, change managers and business stakeholders to plan, craft and deliver communication that lands well across a diverse audience base. From internal updates, executive briefings and project messaging, you’ll ensure information is consistent, accessible and aligned with our broader communications strategy.

This role is central to Crown’s commitment to becoming a really well‑run business, enhancing productivity, strengthening engagement and supporting our teams through meaningful, people‑centred communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver communication strategies aligned to project milestones
  • Partner with change managers to support change‑related messaging and readiness updates
  • Create clear, engaging content across multiple internal and external channels
  • Manage communication channels to ensure accurate, timely and consistent messaging
  • Support leadership briefings, Q&A sessions and communication‑related events
  • Monitor feedback, track communication effectiveness and adjust plans as needed
  • Identify communication risks and provide advice on mitigation strategies including media
  • Prepare updates and reporting for governance forums

About You

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity
  • Proven experience in communications, internal communications or employee engagement
  • Experience supporting business transformation or organisational change
  • Confident working with multiple stakeholders and cross‑functional teams
  • Able to work at pace, manage competing priorities and deliver high‑quality outputs
  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or similar
