IBS Software in Dubai seeks a senior Project Manager for a full-time onsite role overseeing IT software development projects. The ideal candidate has 8 to 10 years of project management experience, a must-have PMP, and preferably Agile certification, with at least five years leading software development; airline industry exposure is a plus and hands-on software engineering background is welcome. You will plan and run both Waterfall and Scrum initiatives, lead RFPs, set governance cadences, optimize resources, and manage scope, schedule and budget while coordinating cross-functional IT and vendor teams and maintaining clear stakeholder communication with strong risk, change and quality controls. •    PMP certification is a must. 
•    Agile Certification is highly desirable 
•    Bachelors in Engineering (or similar) is highly desirable
•    Experience in Project managing IT (Software Development) projects for atleast 5 years. 
•    Airline industry experience will be added advantage. 
•    Initial Software Engineering (hands-on) experience is highly desirable
•    Ability to manage (Plan, Run, Monitor/Control/Report) projects in Traditional waterfall and Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum).
•    Ability to align, engage and drive work with multi-disciplinary team members across various IT departments.
•    Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, resources, and deliverables for both in-house and vendor product implementation projects.
•    Lead the Request for Purchase (RFP) process with documenting requirements, identifying suitable vendors, vendor evaluation & selection and contracting.
•    Create a project specific Governance / Cadence to ensure right level of monitoring and guidance from the right stakeholders.
•    Ensure effective utilization of resources and lead the project team towards success of the project.
•    Foster open and clear communication channels within the project team and with all stakeholders.
•    Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress and updates effectively through regular status reviews and reporting.
•    Manage project tasks and dependencies, tracking progress and ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones.
•    Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
•    Proactively manage and resolve issues to minimize project impact.
•    Implement quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet defined standards.
•    Monitor project costs, ensuring that the project is delivered within the approved cost.
•    Implement effective change controls to manage any changes that come after the project baseline.
•    Manage any changes to Scope, Timeline and Cost through the defined Project Change Request process.
•    Conduct project reviews to analyze successes and identify areas for improvement.
