As Australia's digital economy continues to accelerate, Siemens is playing a critical role in enabling the next generation of data centre infrastructure. Through our Electrification & Automation business, we deliver innovative power distribution, automation, digitalisation and energy solutions that help hyperscale, colocation and enterprise customers build resilient, sustainable and high-performing facilities.

Siemens are looking for a highly experienced Data Centre Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of integrated power solutions across Australia's rapidly growing data centre market. Sitting within Siemens' Electrification & Automation business, you'll drive end-to-end project excellence, technical quality, and customer satisfaction across mission-critical infrastructure — delivering resilient, high-performance solutions aligned to global standards and local market needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Leading end-to-end delivery of large-scale data centre projects, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are consistently achieved across multiple concurrent programs
• Overseeing the full lifecycle of MV switchgear and integrated power distribution systems, from design through to commissioning, maintaining best-practice standards in testing and lifecycle performance
• Building and maintain senior relationships with data centre developers, contractors, and operators — acting as a trusted advisor and leading contract negotiations, variation management, and commercial discussions
• Building and develop a high-performing team, coaching emerging leaders and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Leveraging digital tools, data insights, and automation to enhance productivity and enable smarter project execution
• Championing a zero-harm safety culture, ensuring full compliance with Siemens and Australian regulatory standards

You'll have proven experience in project or program leadership within the data centre, utilities, or mission-critical infrastructure sector, with a strong track record delivering MV/LV electrical systems including switchgear, protection, and control. You're experienced in EPC delivery models and complex stakeholder environments, with a deep understanding of Australian standards, grid connections, and data centre design requirements. A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.

You take ownership of outcomes across all project phases and thrive in high-pressure, mission-critical environments. You balance immediate delivery priorities with long-term growth opportunities, bring cross-functional teams together to achieve shared goals, and communicate with influence across executive stakeholders and diverse teams. You hold yourself to uncompromising standards in safety, engineering, and delivery.

A strong network across the Australian data centre ecosystem — spanning hyperscale providers, colocation operators, Tier 1 contractors, and mission-critical engineering consultants — will be a significant advantage in this role.
