La Petite Maison (LPM) is expanding with Le Café LPM in Dubai, a neighbourhood concept that blends a French Riviera vibe with everyday city life. The new venue is set to open soon, while other locations are already in development. They’re looking for someone who can help build the brand from the ground up and grow alongside the expansion, working onsite in Dubai. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting hands-on with operations and owning a piece of a growing concept.

The Receiving Clerk is the gatekeeper for all incoming goods for Le Café LPM. Your days will revolve around inspecting deliveries for quality, confirming quantities against purchase orders, and recording everything accurately so nothing unapproved slips into storage. As the brand scales, this role offers real scope to shape how goods are received, stored, and tracked.

If you’re detail-focused, comfortable working in a fast-moving hospitality setting, and keen on contributing to a brand that’s building momentum, this full-time onsite position could be a strong fit.

A steady rhythm in the receiving room

On a typical day, you’ll verify each delivery against the corresponding order, check temperatures for items that require it, and log invoices, credit notes, and any discrepancies. If a delivery doesn’t meet the standard, you’ll reject it and flag the issue so it can be resolved promptly.

You’ll move accepted goods to the proper storage areas, following first-in, first-out principles. Fridges, freezers, and dry stores must stay clean, clearly labelled, and organised so the team can access items quickly and safely.

All your notes feed into purchasing and accounts, so accuracy is essential. Keeping clean receiving logs helps everyone stay aligned and ensures that records reflect what actually happened in the warehouse and kitchens.

Reliability matters here: you show up prepared, check thoroughly, and communicate discrepancies without delay so the rest of the team can keep service smooth and the supply chain transparent.

Core requirements to join the team

To be considered, you should bring 2–3 years of experience in receiving, storekeeping, or supply-chain roles within hospitality or F&B.

  • Demonstrated ability to verify deliveries against orders, monitor quantities, and assess quality and safety.
  • A solid grasp of delivery checks, food safety handling, and maintaining precise documentation.
  • Experience with inventory systems, Excel, and coordinating with suppliers, staying organised with multiple daily deliveries.
  • Proficiency in English is essential, with French or another European language considered a bonus.

You’ll be part of a team that values ownership from day one and a growing concept that’s expanding beyond Dubai, so you’ll have a chance to influence how the operation functions as the network expands.

Tips to stand out in this application

Tailor your CV to foreground 2–3 years of relevant experience in receiving, storekeeping, or supply-chain work within hospitality or F&B, and highlight any instances where you managed multiple daily deliveries without misses.

Show how you prove must-have skills: share concrete examples of deliveries checked against purchase orders, how you recorded discrepancies, and how you ensured documentation remained accurate and up to date.

Get ready to talk about food safety and Dubai Municipality standards. Have a clear example of how you’ve stored, labelled, and handled food items in a compliant way, and describe how you’ve kept fridges, freezers, and dry stores organised and compliant with FIFO.

Mention your language skills and software comfort: describe your English proficiency clearly, and note any French or other European language abilities, plus your experience with inventory systems or Excel if you have it.
