Receptionist (Guest Relations Agent)
AccorAccor, a global leader in hospitality, is looking to fill a Receptionist (Guest Relations Agent) role at Ras Al Khaimah City, onsite, with a fulltime schedule. The position is tied to the Rixos Bab Al Bahr property, a luxury resort known for inviting Turkish hospitality and a refined guest experience. This is a chance to work within a brand that supports ongoing growth and learning as part of your everyday work life.
Someone who enjoys meeting guests, solving issues with tact, and helping travellers make the most of their stay will fit well here. The job suits people who communicate clearly, stay organized in a bustling environment, and want to develop in guest relations within a luxury hotel setting.
All duties take place onsite in Ras Al Khaimah, with a team that aims to deliver memorable experiences through warm, attentive service.
Guiding guests from arrival to departure
In this front-line position you’ll greet guests warmly, manage the check-in and check-out flow, and handle room reservations while keeping the process smooth and efficient. You’ll respond to phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries with professionalism, processing payments and maintaining accurate guest records in the hotel management system as you go.
You'll address guest requests, complaints, and feedback promptly and courteously, following up during the stay to ensure comfort and resolve issues. You’ll also take care of special occasions for guests, assist with travel arrangements and local information, and actively promote hotel services, facilities, and ongoing offers.
From arrivals to departures you’ll coordinate with other departments to ensure VIP guests, anniversaries, birthdays, and guests with special needs feel valued, while making sure the check-in and check-out experience is seamless and memorable.

Tips for applicants
Lead your resume with the guest relations or front desk experience you have, and name any hotel systems you know, especially Opera or Fidelio, if you’ve used them.
Back up your claims with concrete examples that show you can handle guest issues, resolve conflicts, and manage multiple tasks at once while keeping records accurate in a PMS.
Be ready for interview questions about VIP guests, special occasions, check-in/check-out flow, and how you handle payments and updating guest files in the system. Practice a short, clear description of a time you delivered calm and effective service under pressure.
Ask a pointed question about growth opportunities, such as what on-the-job training is available for Opera or Fidelio and how the Ras Al Khaimah property supports career development within the Accor network.
