IPAR is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant for a full-time onsite role in Shepparton, covering the Northern Victoria region. You’ll collaborate with injured workers, employers and a multidisciplinary team to enable safe return to work through vocational counseling, motivational interviewing, job skills development and clear progress reporting. Requirements include a relevant degree (Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy or Occupational Therapy), full AHPRA or ESSA registration, a current driver’s licence and ideally experience in Occupational or Vocational Rehabilitation. Job Description

Join a dynamic, passionate and highly skilled Shepparton team. You will make a valuable contribution as a Rehabilitation Consultant. This is a great opportunity to work across the Northern Victoria region across Shepparton and surrounds.

Some of your day to day includes:

• Work collaboratively with injured workers, potential employers, and your internal team of allied health professionals to provide safe, sustainable opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce;
• Provide vocational counselling services to support injured workers utilising your motivational interviewing skills.
• Contribute to injured workers ability to achieve return to work goals through job skills development, confidence building and promoting independence;
• Apply and deliver customer service in employment services and job placement;
• Empower clients to effectively present their skills and abilities when seeking employment;
• Build strong relationships with local employers and organisations; 
• Complete written progress and various other reports on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy or Occupational Therapy.
• Full AHPRA registration or Full ESSA Accreditation or eligibility to obtain
• Experience in Occupational and/ or Vocational Rehabilitation is highly desirable
• Strong resume writing skills with an understanding of local labour market;
• A passion for assisting people to gain employment and enhance their careers;
• The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers;
• Current driver licence and motor vehicle.
