Retail Marketing Manager-UK
XPENGXPENG is hiring a Retail Marketing Manager to drive the UK market. This is a full-time, onsite role based in London, ENG, and sits within XPENG’s overseas business segment. The person in this position will own the offline customer experience, community building, and cross-channel marketing efforts that shape how XPENG is seen in the UK.
If you enjoy planning test-drive events, coordinating with dealers, and turning feedback into better experiences for buyers and owners, this role could be a great fit. It’s also a chance to run campaigns across brands, social channels, and PR, while building active user communities around XPENG’s products.
You’ll contribute to a team expanding XPENG’s footprint in overseas markets, focusing on the UK’s unique needs and collaborating with charging partners and experience stores to activate the customer journey from first contact to ownership.
Day-by-day rhythm in the UK market
A core part of the job is planning and delivering offline experiences, test drives, experience days, auto shows, roadshows, and pop-up stores, and working with dealers to ensure test-drive routes and experience processes meet XPENG’s user standards, with post-event analyses to measure impact.
You will build and sustain the UK XPENG user community through channels like WhatsApp and offline owner groups, and you’ll design referral programs, owner clubs, and opportunities for owner content co-creation. You’ll also coordinate with charging partners and experience stores to run related user activities.
On the customer experience side, you’ll collect feedback from test drives, store visits, and everyday ownership and identify local pain points, such as charging coverage or language considerations, and push improvements back to headquarters. You’ll help develop SOPs for user experience at experience stores and service centers to keep the standard consistent.
In marketing, you’ll coordinate campaigns with brands, social media, and PR to turn campaign content into owner stories and testimonials, and you’ll work with agents to drive market promotion. Data will underpin your decisions as you translate insights into actions for product and marketing strategies.

Tips to help you stand out here
Lead your resume with the most relevant experience: highlight campaigns, car test-drive events, and any experience managing customer journeys, especially in UK contexts, and mention any work with communities or referral programs.
Demonstrate how you prove the must-have skills: share concrete examples of building or growing a UK user community, coordinating with dealers, and driving cross-functional collaborations to run or improve events.
Be ready to discuss concrete interview scenarios: talk through a test-drive event you led, how you addressed local pain points like charging coverage or language barriers, and the measurable impact you achieved (growth, retention, satisfaction, or NPS).
Ask a targeted question: inquire about how the team balances national campaign goals with UK-specific localization, and what success metrics are used to decide product or marketing directions for the UK market.
