Three tips to help you win the role
Lead your resume with your sales or customer-facing experience, and highlight any work with tech or appliances so they see you’re drawn to this space.
When you describe your must-have skills, back them up with real interactions, show how you built relationships, solved problems, and helped customers by focusing on their needs and the latest tech trends.
In interviews, be prepared to discuss how you would handle a busy in-store moment, explain a product’s features in simple terms, and demonstrate how you contribute to a positive team culture that helps achieve daily targets.
Ask about training on new products and about internal progression paths. A good question is how they support ongoing product knowledge and what kinds of internal opportunities exist after Noel Leeming.
