Tips to stand out for this role

Lead your resume with your hospitality experience and highlight a couple of years in the field, especially any work that involved coordinating groups or events.

Back up the must-have skills with concrete examples. Mention specific group bookings you handled, how you set up billing, and how you kept data accurate across Sales, POS and Event Management systems, using MS Office as needed.

Be ready to discuss a time you collaborated with Sales Managers to execute a booking and manage changes, including how you maintained timely follow-up and kept reports up to date.

Ask a pointed question about the role’s system footprint and success metrics, for example: which system will you use most, Sales, POS or Event Management, and how is performance in this role measured?
