Fairmat is hiring a Sales Recycling Manager to expand its global feedstock network and secure long term partnerships, reporting to the head of Sales Recycling and joining a team growing to five people, with scope across Europe, North America and China. The role focuses on growing existing accounts, winning new strategic partnerships, and delivering feedstock volumes to power Fairmat’s ambition to lead the circular carbon composites space, with frequent international travel and locations in Paris, Nantes, Salt Lake City or Shanghai. The ideal candidate has a proven B2B track record in advanced materials or recycling, has personally closed strategic agreements representing more than €10 million in annual revenue and built a pipeline above €50 million, is comfortable engaging senior decision makers across cultures, and thrives in an entrepreneurial, ambiguous environment with hands on field experience. As a Sales Recycling Manager, your mission is to continue this journey: expand our global feedstock network, secure the next generation of strategic partnerships, and ensure Fairmat has the materials required to support its industrial ambitions for years to come.
Reporting to the head of Sales Recycling and Feedstock, you will join a team growing to 5 people (current 2) and participate to Fairmat's Recycling commercial strategy across Europe, North America and China.
This role is responsible for securing the feedstock required to support Fairmat's ambition of becoming the global leader in circular carbon composite materials.
Success in this role means delivering immediate feedstock volumes while securing the strategic partnerships and long-term agreements that will underpin Fairmat's growth through 2028 and beyond.
You will integrate Fairmat's Recycling commercial team and work closely with the CEO, Marketing, Quality and Operations teams across Europe, North America and China.
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing recycling and feedstock partners by identifying expansion opportunities across new waste streams, production sites, geographies and business units.
Build and execute account development plans, negotiate commercial and contractual terms, and coordinate internal stakeholders to deliver new projects and contract extensions.
Develop trusted relationships across customer organizations while driving satisfaction, retention, contracted volumes and long-term partnership growth.
Build and maintain a qualified pipeline by identifying and engaging carbon composite waste holders across target industries and geographies.
Lead opportunities from initial contact through commercial negotiation, material qualification, industrial validation and operational onboarding, in coordination with Product, Quality, Technical and Legal teams.
Structure and close long-term agreements, monitor project ramp-up and delivery performance, and maintain accurate opportunity, volume and revenue forecasts.
Provide structured market intelligence on feedstock availability, customer needs, competitive dynamics and emerging opportunities.
Contribute to the prioritization of target accounts, industries, materials and geographies while representing the voice of customers and partners internally.
Support the continuous improvement of the team’s commercial tools and processes, and represent Fairmat in customer meetings, industry events and strategic partnership discussions.
You have a proven track record of building and scaling B2B businesses in advanced materials, industrial manufacturing, recycling, chemicals, aerospace, energy or similarly complex industries.
You have personally led and closed strategic commercial agreements representing more than €10 million in annual revenue and/or built an order book exceeding €50 million.
You are comfortable navigating complex organizations and engaging senior decision-makers in international industrial groups.
You thrive in entrepreneurial environments, are comfortable operating in ambiguity and enjoy building organizations, processes and partnerships from scratch.
You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and are willing to spend significant time in the field with customers and partners.
You are comfortable working across multiple cultures and geographies and communicate fluently in English.
Experience in composites, carbon fiber, advanced materials, circular economy or industrial waste valorization is a strong advantage.
