The role is an eight-month contract and requires a Sila license to work onsite in Dubai, AE. What You’ll Do as a Security Officer at Sofitel Dubai The Palm
In this role, the security officer is expected to deliver reliable, professional service while collaborating with colleagues across the hotel. Daily duties include routine patrols of all areas to safeguard guests and staff, managing the presence of trespassers or unauthorized individuals, and conducting security and baggage checks as required. Monitoring CCTV and responding appropriately to situations ensures the safety of everyone on the property, while keeping an eye on vehicle violations such as parking issues or dangerous driving helps maintain orderly grounds.
Position responsibilities extend to responding promptly to activated fire prevention systems, investigating causes, and reporting findings with clear, actionable information. Guest and staff concerns are addressed with timely first aid and casualty care when needed, maintaining a calm and helpful approach. Building strong relationships with all departments is essential, as is recording daily shift activities and providing relevant information to hotel teams for follow-up. Compliance with corporate, hotel, and departmental policies is a constant requirement, and participation in hotel committees may be needed. Other security duties within the department may also arise as tasks shift.

Must-Have Requirements
- Current First Aid and CPR certification is required.
- The ability to work rotating shifts, including day and night, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, is essential.
