HCL Technologies Limited is looking for a Senior Administrator to join the Desk Side Services team that supports AMT Asset Management Software in Great Britain. This is a full-time, onsite role intended for someone who enjoys hands-on work with enterprise IT operations and end-user systems.

The position blends asset management with ITIL-driven processes, using automation tools to keep services aligned with organizational standards for quality and cost. It’s a hands-on role that thrives on collaboration with analysts and cross-functional partners to keep things running smoothly.

It’s a good fit for someone who likes solving problems, sharing knowledge, and coaching teammates to help improve service delivery across the team.

The daily rhythm on the desk

Your day centers on upholding quality and regulatory standards in asset management, applying established practices to keep solutions in line with company policies. When complex incidents arise, you step in to troubleshoot, performing root-cause analysis and addressing security concerns to keep systems secure and available.

Beyond handling incidents, you’ll drive value by updating the knowledge base and mentoring newer team members, helping analysts grow their skills and effectiveness. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to resolve challenging tickets within SLAs, maintaining a strong security posture while ensuring smooth operations.

Customer experience matters, so you’ll aim for first-call resolution, minimize rejected or reopened cases, and actively mitigate security threats to keep CSAT high.

Advice for applicants

Lead with your asset management services experience and ITIL practices at the top of your resume, and call out any concrete work with AMT Asset Management Software or similar tools to set the right context.

Demonstrate your ability to handle complex incidents by describing situations where you performed troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and addressed security concerns, with a focus on outcomes rather than process alone.

Be ready to discuss how you’ve updated knowledge bases, trained new team members, and coached analysts to raise service delivery, including examples of how those efforts improved team performance.

Ask a thoughtful question about how CSAT and first-call resolution are measured in this team, or how the AMT Asset Management Software integrates with desk-side services to support incident response and compliance.
