Your Profile
We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Migration Lead to play a key role in a major Windows 11 migration programme. This is a highly hands-on technical position, ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working across diverse technology stacks, and driving successful outcomes in large enterprise environments.
With over 3,000 applications impacted, you'll need to be agile, pragmatic, and comfortable navigating complex application and platform dependencies. As an integration specialist, you will work closely with application owners, infrastructure teams, project and change managers, and business stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
Core responsbilities:
- Lead technical activities supporting a large-scale Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration programme
- Assess application compatibility, dependencies, and integration impacts across a broad application portfolio
- Act as the technical lead for application remediation, packaging, testing, deployment, and support activities
- Collaborate with multiple technology teams to coordinate system integration and migration activities
- Execute application and platform changes, releases, and service requests within supported environments
- Analyse existing Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Intune, and Configuration Manager environments and identify opportunities for optimisation
- Facilitate technical workshops and produce high-quality solution design and implementation documentationProvide expert troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex technical issues
- Ensure all work is completed and documented in accordance with established standards, methods, and procedures
- Contribute to migration strategy, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives
This role can be based anywhere in New Zealand. While the position offers flexibility in location, occasional travel to the nearest site may be required to support deployment activities, ensure successful implementation outcomes, and provide hands-on troubleshooting assistance to end users when needed.

- Significant, proven experience delivering large-scale Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration programmes
- Extensive experience managing application remediation and compatibility assessment activities
- Strong understanding of enterprise application landscapes and integration patterns
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments with large application portfolios
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities and deadlines
