We're looking for a seasoned HR professional to join our HR Business Partnering team on a fixed term basis to provide additional senior capability within the team whilst supporting organisational projects.  This role offers the opportunity to work closely alongside an HR Business Partner, supporting leaders through complex people challenges, organisational change initiatives, and strategic people projects.

As one of our senior practitioners, you'll partner with leaders across our Community Health portfolio, providing expert advice and coaching while contributing to a broad range of organisational initiatives. From complex employment relations matters and change programmes through to capability building, leadership support, and people-focused projects, you'll enjoy significant variety and exposure.

Our organisation is unlike any other. We deliver frontline ambulance services, community health programmes and commercial activities, with approximately 11,000 paid staff and volunteers working together across Aotearoa. The scale, complexity and diversity of our workforce means no two days are the same, and the work you do will have a genuine impact on the communities we serve.

As part of a highly regarded and supportive HR Business Partnering team, you'll work closely with the HRBP to influence people outcomes and partner with leaders on a broad range of operational and strategic workforce matters.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who brings strong HR partnering experience and confidence operating in complex environments.

You may currently be an HR Business Partner looking for a fixed-term opportunity, or a highly experienced Senior HR Advisor ready to continue building your strategic partnering capability.

You'll bring:

  • Significant experience managing complex employment relations matters and case management.
  • Strong organisational change and transformation experience, including leading end-to-end change processes.
  • The ability to coach, influence and build credibility with leaders at all levels.
  • Experience partnering with operational leaders to improve team performance and people outcomes.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
  • Adaptability, resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
