Your New Role

G'day Group is in a period of rapid growth and is investing significantly in its technology landscape and we are looking for an exceptional Enterprise Architect to lead the way. In this pivotal role, you will shape and govern enterprise-wide architectures spanning data platforms, AI-enabled capabilities, core business systems and integration patterns at scale. You will establish an EA operating model that translates corporate strategy into clear, traceable roadmaps and portfolios of work, balancing risk, optimising cost and maximising business value across the organisation. If you are a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between vision and execution, this is a rare opportunity to make a lasting impact at the heart of a fast-moving, ambitious business.

  • Lead enterprise architecture strategy and governance, defining the EA operating model, chairing the Architecture Review Board, and ensuring clear traceability from strategic objectives to prioritised, value-driven portfolios of work.
  • Drive data architecture leadership, setting reference standards for data platforms, enforcing best-practice data modelling and engineering, and guiding the creation of business ontologies to deliver trusted, high-quality data across the organisation.
  • Set the guardrails for AI, automation and technology governance, partnering with Risk, Legal and Security to embed ethical AI, privacy practices and responsible experimentation into the operating model at every level.
  • Own integration and solution architecture, championing secure, scalable and loosely coupled systems through API-led, event-driven and iPaaS patterns, whilst providing hands-on oversight across major projects and key architectural decisions.
  • Inspire and grow the architecture community, coaching and mentoring technical teams, embedding agile and DevOps ways of working, and building trusted relationships with business leaders to position EA as a genuine, value-adding partner.

Your Skills and Experience

  • You bring an extensive track record in senior architecture roles, applying frameworks such as TOGAF pragmatically, focusing on outcomes over process and delivering real-world results.
  • You possess deep expertise in enterprise data architecture, data modelling and modern data platforms, and you know how to turn complex data landscapes into trusted, high-quality assets that drive business decisions.
  • You have strong design knowledge of API-led, event-driven and microservices/iPaaS architectures, and you're confident making bold, well-reasoned decisions about integration patterns at scale.
  • You have a proven track record of establishing EA operating models, governance forums and standards that stick creating structures that empower teams rather than slow them down.
  • You're a natural communicator and influencer, equally comfortable presenting to a Board as you are rolling up your sleeves with engineering teams able to translate complex technology into clear, compelling narratives for any audience.
