Crypto.com, a global cryptocurrency platform founded in 2016, is looking for a Senior or Principal Product Manager to lead user onboarding and growth for the Crypto.com App from its Dubai base, with a hybrid work setup. The company serves more than 80 million customers and aims to put cryptocurrency in every wallet, guided by security, privacy and compliance. This role is ideal for someone who wants broad scope and real ownership in a fast-moving, regulated consumer fintech environment.

The person in this role will own the onboarding experience across the main app and nearby surfaces, balancing regulatory obligations with customer activation and time-to-value. You’ll report to the Onboarding squad Lead, work closely with an engineering, design, compliance, marketing and trading chorus, and steer independence in shaping the roadmap. If you’ve done onboarding in regulated fintech before, you’ll feel the familiar tension between compliance and growth, but this time the breadth is wider: a platform that must support more products, regulatory paths, and trading journeys as the playbook continues to be written.

In six months, you’ll be responsible for the onboarding-and-growth charter and will start to take on trading-product work alongside the onboarding remit. The job blends product leadership with hands-on decision making, and you’ll be expected to align cross-functional partners around priorities while adapting plans when regulation or delivery constraints shift.

Mornings in the onboarding engine

You’ll steer end-to-end, compliant onboarding, setting the roadmap for account opening, identity verification, KYC requirements and the platform capabilities that support them. The role involves weighing how fast onboarding should be, how much risk to tolerate, and how to stay within regulatory bounds while keeping customers moving toward activation.

Turning onboarding into a growth engine means owning activation metrics, referrals, and new-user incentives, and collaborating with Marketing on acquisition mechanics. You’ll stay accountable for what happens after a user clicks, ensuring the path from sign-up to meaningful product use is smooth and measurable.

Instrumenting the funnel means spotting where customers drop off, sizing the opportunities, delivering interventions, and measuring whether those changes lift completion and activation. You won’t wait for someone else to analyse the data, you’ll own the insights and the actions that follow.

Extending onboarding across products means reusing capabilities built for the Main App and adapting them to other surfaces without creating fragmented journeys. You’ll also own a meaningful slice of trading product, connecting onboarding to the first trade and ongoing participation, while still enabling broader trading work through collaboration with the Trading team.

Leading across functions means coordinating with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Marketing and Trading around priorities, dependencies and launches. When regulations or delivery constraints shift, you’ll re-plan to preserve the intended outcomes without losing momentum.

The must-have ingredients and the extras

  • You have delivered consumer onboarding and growth as a combined challenge, and you can point to a specific activation, referral, acquisition or time-to-value problem you owned, the intervention you shipped, and the impact in measurable terms.

  • You have shipped account opening or KYC features within a regulated product, and you can explain how identity, country rules or regulatory changes affected the funnel and what you changed to address it.

  • You have extended a shared onboarding capability across products or markets, showing how you reused the platform while tailoring the journey for a new product, brand, or regulatory context.

  • You have enough depth in trading product to take ownership, having led or deeply contributed to a trading, brokerage, investing or first-trade journey, and you can discuss the customer, mechanics, and tradeoffs without coaching.

  • You operate as a senior individual contributor, capable of running two connected charters, making prioritization calls, and delivering in ambiguity without needing a manager to structure every decision.

  • Crypto trading experience on a consumer product, with the ability to ramp quickly into Crypto.com’s trading journeys.

  • Experience with multi-asset products such as stocks, tokenized assets, options, or brokerage offerings to support the company’s multi-asset direction.

  • Familiarity with prediction markets or sports products to help adjacent work.

  • Experience building onboarding or trading journeys across multiple markets with different regulatory and customer contexts.

Pay, benefits and practical details

Crypto.com offers a competitive salary along with a medical insurance package that extends to dependents. The role provides an attractive annual leave entitlement that includes birthday and work anniversary days, and it supports flexible work arrangements with hybrid or remote set-ups. There is an internal mobility program to broaden opportunities within the company, and a Crypto.com visa card is provided upon joining. Benefit packages can vary by region, and you can learn more from the talent acquisition team.

Guidance for applicants

Lead your resume with a concrete onboarding or growth project you owned in a regulated context, and include the activation or time-to-value metric that moved. Make sure the impact is clear and what you changed is easy to describe in one line.

Show how you extended a shared onboarding capability across products or markets, and explain how you reused the platform while adapting the journey for a new product, brand, or regulatory setting. Highlight cross-functional collaboration and what you delivered without needing micromanagement.

Be ready to discuss a trading-related journey you owned or contributed to, describe who the customer was, how onboarding fed into the first trade, and the tradeoffs you weighed. You don’t need to be the sole expert, but you should be able to hold a trading-product conversation confidently.

Ask a thoughtful question about how the onboarding platform stays compliant as new products are added and as markets differ, and how the team plans to scale onboarding across future product surfaces and regulatory contexts. A good query will show you’re thinking about both growth and risk management in a growing, regulated ecosystem.
