Senior Quality Assurance Automation Tester at GAC Group is a full-time onsite role in Dubai focused on safeguarding software quality across system, integration, sanity and regression testing. You’ll collaborate with development and business teams, champion quality within your squad, and contribute to building reliable applications in IT. To stand out, demonstrate at least five years in the software testing lifecycle, two years in test automation, a relevant degree, and a current ISTQB or agile certification if possible. Show hands on experience with Selenium (Java or .Net), TestNG, Maven, Git, and DevOps tooling (Jenkins or Azure DevOps); API testing (Rest and SOAP) with SoapUI, Postman or REST Assured; SQL knowledge. Highlight agile delivery, cross functional collaboration, multicultural awareness, and measurable quality improvements. Tailor your resume to align with the tools, processes, and outcomes the role requires and be prepared for English communication across levels.

The primary purpose of this job is to ensure the quality of the software applications of GAC Group IT.  

The job exists to collaborate closely with other team members and departments to execute all applicable testing levels (System, Integration, Sanity, Regression, etc.) to ensure that GAC applications meet all standards and guidelines. QA Testers are responsible for joining development projects and teams and take responsibility to become the advocates of quality in their respective team assignments.   

The job contributes towards building quality applications in GAC Group IT. 

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of STLS. 

• Minimum 2 years of Test Automation Experience. 

• A bachelor’s degree, preferably related to computer science or engineering or any related field. 

• Preferably ISTQB certified or has any agile certification. 

• SDLC/STLC knowledge. 

• Experience in working with Agile environments and knowledge of Agile processes and principles. 

• Experience in various testing methodologies and frameworks. 

• Selenium using Java/.Net, TestNG, Maven, Git. 

• DevOps practices and CI/CD hands-on expertise on Jenkins/Azure DevOps. 

• Knowledge of OOP and basic SQL. 

• API testing experience (Rest and SOAP) using SOAP UI/Postman/REST Assured. 

• Preferable experience with JMeter and Spec flow. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. 

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of personnel. 

• Cultural awareness within a multicultural corporate environment. 

• Strong skills in building and maintaining relationships across IT and non-IT teams. 

• Proactively communicate and escalate issues that might impact the quality.
