Octopus Australia is looking for a Senior Stakeholder Engagement Advisor in Brisbane to drive engagement across development, construction and operating renewable energy assets. This onsite role can be full time or part-time if suitable and travel domestically. You will implement stakeholder engagement strategies, deliver communication plans, lead community consultations and sponsorships, coordinate and manage community funding programs, and administer stakeholder databases while providing crisis communications support and media relations. The ideal candidate has renewable energy experience, proven relationship-building across diverse groups, strong written and verbal skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative culture aligned with Be Bold, Be Helpful, Be Straightforward. Company Description
You will be assisting the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies for Octopus Australia’s existing renewable energy assets and new projects. Our current portfolio consists of a mixture of early-stage developments through to operating assets.
The role will work closely with Octopus Australia’s Development, Construction and Assets teams to support the successful delivery of projects.
The role is based in Brisbane – with site visits required to: our development sites, operational sites, stakeholders and communities across Australia.
