  • Managing and optimising the Group’s effective and cash tax rates and identifying tax opportunities and risks.
  • Providing tax structuring advice for acquisitions, integrations, and new ventures.
  • Partnering with finance and treasury teams to support tax‑efficient financing structures, including withholding tax and thin capitalisation considerations.
  • Leading all aspects of Australian tax compliance, including income tax, GST, indirect taxes and state taxes.
  • Managing ATO engagement, including audits, disputes, negotiations and technical queries.
  • Implementing strong tax governance, internal controls, and documentation; overseeing the tax risk register and reporting to the country Executive Management.
  • Monitoring domestic and international tax regulatory changes and advising on business impacts.
  • Driving continuous improvement across tax processes, reporting, and systems, including the adoption of technology.
  • Leading the tax workstream for LDC Australia’s multi‑year transformation program and system integrations.
  • Supporting ad‑hoc commercial, innovation and tax-related projects with clear analysis and insights.
  • Leading transfer pricing matters across the SSEA region and globally for specific commodities traded out of Australia.
