Transport for NSW is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to own testing infrastructure and tooling, ensuring environments are stable, patched and aligned with standards. You will guarantee availability and drive tool integration across systems for efficient testing. In this role, you'll:

You will be responsible for the operation and support of all testing‑related infrastructure and tooling, ensuring that test environments are fully operational, stable, patched, and maintained to current standards. 

You will ensure the availability, connectivity, and reliability of testing environments, as well as the effective integration of tools across systems and platforms to support consistent and efficient testing activities.

This role will see you coordinate and provide specialist technical testing services, including security focused testing such as penetration testing and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), ensuring services are delivered in line with technical and organisational requirements. 

You will work closely with third‑party service providers to coordinate the provisioning and delivery of testing services, ensuring alignment with agreed service standards, delivery schedules, and quality expectations.

About you

You possess a strong background in product and platform administration within complex enterprise environments.

You bring proven capability across platform maintenance, configuration, patching, and lifecycle management, ensuring systems remain stable, secure, and aligned with organisational standards. 

You have hands‑on experience working with cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure, and are confident supporting environments operating at scale.

You possess a strong technical foundation in supporting testing platforms and tooling, including automation frameworks, test management systems, and performance testing infrastructure.
