Tips to stand out in the application

Put your most relevant toolkit up top on your resume, and lead with your hands-on work in Unreal Engine, Unity, Blender, VRED or other DCC tools, plus a note about CGI workflows. This helps the team see you have the practical foundation they’re looking for.

Back up every claim with concrete projects that show immersive visualizations used to communicate product concepts to stakeholders, and include samples of images, videos and real-time interactions you delivered on schedule. Clear, demonstrable outcomes beat vague statements.

Be ready to walk through your design-review approach, how you gather feedback, how you iterate visuals, and how you ensure outputs stay aligned with product concepts and goals. Interviewers will want to understand your process end-to-end.

Ask a thoughtful question about how visualization assets feed into the design-review process and whether there are opportunities to apply AR/VR across teams to support cross-functional collaboration. That shows you’re thinking about how your visuals will drive decisions in a real-world workflow.
