The property will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theater, a beach club, multiple pools, a five-star spa, a shopping promenade and a celebrations and events center. Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a skilled Shift Manager - Asset Protection to join its on-site security team in the United Arab Emirates, a role suited to someone who wants to lead security in a high-profile hospitality setting.
The role sits at the core of guest safety and service, overseeing security operations during your assigned shift across gaming and non-gaming areas. You’ll guide the Security Supervisor in how the team is deployed to maintain coverage and quick response, while you actively supervise to keep the property safe and under control. You’ll ensure compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls, and resort policies, and you’ll manage access to restricted areas, coordinating incident response with the SOC, Corporate Investigations and other departments as needed. This is a hands-on leadership post that requires clarity under pressure and a strong commitment to professional conduct.
Your shift leadership will extend to coaching the Security Supervisor and the security team, running briefings and handovers, and ensuring incident records are accurate and submitted on time. You’ll direct responses to incidents, disturbances, suspicious activity, medical events, and emergencies across both gaming and non-gaming spaces, and you’ll keep the guest experience safe by balancing enforcement actions with guest service. The role also covers maintenance of security equipment and posts, regular inspections to spot deficiencies, and close collaboration with other departments, gaming, hotel, food and beverage, entertainment, to keep operations secure and uninterrupted. Through all of this, you’ll promote professional, guest-focused service that stays within policy and standards.
Steering security across the resort
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll act as the on-shift authority for security matters, directing the security team to ensure effective coverage and rapid response. You’ll supervise access controls for gaming floors, back-of-house zones, and other sensitive locations, making sure only authorized people can enter. You’ll coordinate with the SOC and investigations teams during incidents, help monitor the gaming floor for threats and prohibited conduct, and escalate significant events to Security leadership as required. You’ll also oversee guest interactions during disputes or entry refusals, maintain readiness of equipment and communications, and lead the team through emergency procedures and business continuity plans while working closely with operations to keep everything running smoothly.

- A proven track record of guiding large teams
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in security or a related field
- A strong leadership presence with sound professional judgement

- A solid understanding of gaming and non-gaming environments, plus hospitality and security operations
- Strong analytical skills with risk-based decision-making ability

- Knowledge of security training principles, including training needs analysis, delivery, and competency assessment
Nice-to-haves that help you stand out
- ASIS International CPP certification is preferred
- Experience coordinating incident response with the Security Operations Center and investigations teams
- Exposure to both gaming and non-gaming security within a hospitality setting
