AD Ports Group seeks a Specialist - FZ Inspection to supervise planned and unplanned inspections of Free Zone marine operations, coordinating with outsourced inspectors to ensure safe, compliant activity. You’ll design and implement inspection plans, liaise with MAQTA gateway and DED permit systems to issue NOCs and operational permits, and review team performance against safety, security and environmental standards, penalties, and KPIs, plus recommend corrective actions and report to leadership while strengthening stakeholder relationships. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering, HSE or related fields, 5 to 6 years in HSEQ/OSHAD inspections in free zones, and fluency in Arabic and English, with on-site work in Abu Dhabi. Supervise and provide oversight of planned and unplanned inspections of FZ Companies for marine activities in Free zone in liaison with outsourced inspections team to regulate safe operations in Free Zones
Core Responsibilities:
Prepare and ensure implementation of inspection plan of FZ service and operational companies
Liaise with automated MAQTA gateway system/ DED permit system and assist in issuing NOCs and Operational Permits
review inspections team performance for the inspection of service and operational companies and verify their compliance with safety and security standards and requirements, environmental regulations
review and evaluate database on violations and fine management
review and evaluate reports regarding violations and progress of inspections of companies, facilities and observations, and submit recommendations for the necessary corrective measures in accordance with the requirements of the department and submit them to the concerned authority after the approval of the department head
review and submit KPI reports and recommendations of Inspection to the Department
Support in Strengthening relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure services are provided in accordance with the best standards

Educational and Technical Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Engineering studies, HSE or civil engineering, Business management or equivalent
Demonstrated background in HSEQ / OSHAD functions, with experience in conducting inspections
Language Skills:

A minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience
