Getting ready to apply

Demonstrate in your cover letter or interview how you’ve built trust with senior leaders and external parties, and point to examples where you monitored regulatory developments and identified actionable impacts for your organisation.
Prepare a concise story about how you’ve driven governance improvements and supported policy lifecycle management in a prior role. Think about a time you collaborated with multiple stakeholders to meet a deadline or resolve a risk issue, and be ready to discuss the outcomes and lessons learned. For interviews, plan to describe how you would approach preparing materials for firmwide committees and how you’d help senior management see the value of quality and risk reporting.
When you’re ready to ask a question, consider inquiring about how the RQRR team collaborates with other internal offices and business units to align on policy changes, or how the firm measures the effectiveness of its governance processes over time.
