Tips for your application
Put the most relevant leadership experience up front on your resume. Start with a concise summary that highlights your time supervising 20+ staff in a warehouse or distribution setting, plus your comfort with WMS systems and timekeeping processes.
Show how you prove you have the must-have skills. Include examples with numbers: improvements you led, safety metrics you moved, and training programs you implemented or updated, especially any OSHA or GMP-related work.
Be ready to discuss real-world interview questions around coaching and performance management. Have a concrete story about how you resolved a safety incident or gap in compliance, and how audits or 5S initiatives you championed translated into measurable results.
Ask a focused question that reflects the role’s specifics. For example, inquire about the site’s current GMP and 5S initiatives, how success is measured for the Senior Operations Supervisor, and how the 50% travel requirement is structured day-to-day.
