Student Recruitment Advisor

About the role:
The Student Recruitment Advisor is responsible for managing enquiries and enrolments to ensure targets are being met, and at the same time, provides a consistently high-quality service to our clients and stakeholders. This is a sales position, with the primary purpose of ensuring the Yoobee Colleges are meeting or exceeding new student enrolment targets.
Reporting to the National Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for securing future enrolments across the Campus to ensure all sales enquiries are being managed and converted to appointments quickly and efficiently. The management of the enrolment process should be customer centric and seamless for prospective students. In this role, you will work closely with the Student Enrolment Advisors in other Yoobee Colleges campuses as well as the Business Development Team and Short Course Team.
Other responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of courses, employment outcomes and market positioning of and our target consumers
Keep up to date on programme developments, learning and education processes, NZQA and TEC requirements and policies and procedures
Ensure all TEC rules, Code of Practice and company policies are strictly adhered to
About you:
You’re someone who thrives in a customer/people centric environment and understands the unique needs of today's students. With a natural ability to build rapport quickly, you communicate in a way that is both engaging and genuine.
Ideally, you bring a perspective shaped by recent experience in study/student life, allowing you to genuinely connect with prospective learners and support them in navigating their education pathways.
A recent student or some recent exposure to student-focused environments- whether through campus involvements, internships, peer support, or similar experiences
An interest in the creative or tech industries, or early experience in those areas through study, projects, or personal pursuits
Experience using Microsoft suite, and a willingness to learn CRM systems
Genuine enthusiasm for learning, helping others succeed, and being a positive advocate for students
An ability to work well with people of diverse backgrounds and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive environment
Initiative, self-motivation, and readiness to take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision
