In this role, you'll:

You will provide technical oversight across maintenance and upgrade projects, working with systems such as OMCS, PMCS, TMCS, ITS and Fire and Life Safety systems. Based in Tweed Heads, you’ll operate with a high level of autonomy, collaborating with operators, engineers and contractors to manage condition data, resolve technical issues and ensure assurance standards remain robust across the tunnel asset lifecycle.

About you
you are an experienced Systems or Electrical Engineer with strong hands‑on knowledge of tunnel operating systems, control systems, PLCs and integrated ICT environments. You are confident interpreting technical documentation, managing system assurance and supporting maintenance, upgrades and performance testing across complex infrastructure. You communicate clearly, work comfortably with operational and field teams, and bring sound judgement, technical depth and a strong safety and compliance mindset. Experience in tunnel, infrastructure or similarly complex operational environments will see you thrive in this role.
