Internship
On-site
Vancouver, CA

Anker Innovations, a global maker of smart devices, is looking for a Technical Support Engineer intern to support the US market from its Vancouver, Canada campus. The internship is onsite, and it’s a strong fit for engineering students or recent graduates who love solving problems and explaining how products work. If you enjoy collaborating across teams and want hands-on exposure to product support, this could be a good match.

In this role you’ll help lay the groundwork for after-sales service ahead of new product launches, working closely with development and quality teams to review features from a user’s perspective and produce service documentation. You’ll build deep familiarity with product features and issues, assist in creating training materials, and deliver enablement training to regional teams to strengthen frontline problem-solving. You’ll also respond swiftly to regional inquiries, coordinate internal and external resources to move complex issues toward resolution, and provide practical solutions. Finally, you’ll listen to customer feedback to identify issues and help drive improvements in the product experience to boost satisfaction.

Overall, the role blends technical learning with customer-facing problem solving. It’s a chance to gain cross-functional experience and contribute to product support from pre-launch planning through post-launch follow-through.

What you’ll handle on a typical day

Daily work centers on preparing after-sales content before new products ship, collaborating with development and quality teams to ensure the materials reflect real-world usage and common questions. You’ll help assemble training resources that clearly explain how features work and what issues may arise, and you’ll share enablement sessions with regional teams to raise their confidence in resolving problems on the front lines.

When questions come in from regions, you’ll coordinate with engineers, QA, and other teammates to assemble solutions and move them toward closure. You’ll track progress, communicate clear next steps, and contribute to ongoing product knowledge so future inquiries are handled more smoothly. You’ll also translate customer feedback into actionable ideas that inform product improvements and training content, aiming to lift customer satisfaction and experience.

What you’ll need to bring

You’ll need a bachelor’s degree or higher in electronic information technology, mechatronics engineering, or a related engineering discipline, and you should be Class of 2027 or graduating in 2027.

  • You should demonstrate strong logical thinking and the ability to manage projects; leading campus clubs or coordinating events counts as a plus.
  • You must be able to work under pressure, with a track record of quick learning and clear communication.

Pay, perks and practical details

The role is an internship based onsite in Vancouver, Canada.

Applicants must hold valid work authorization for the country where the position is located, as described in the posting.

Advice for applicants

Lead your resume with your field of study and your expected graduation year, so the must-have education detail and Class of 2027 status are immediately clear.

Show how you demonstrate logical thinking and project management by citing a campus project or club leadership where you planned milestones and coordinated teammates, even if it wasn’t paid work.

Prepare for interviews by outlining how you would handle a regional customer inquiry, how you would coordinate with development, QA and support to push a solution, and how you would create a training material to reduce similar questions later.

When you ask a question in an interview, inquire about how the team collaborates with development and quality during new product launches and how you would contribute to enablement trainings or product documentation.
