Norris Motor Group is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to lead the daily operation of our busy multi-franchise workshop. This role is responsible for managing workflow across Kia, Hyundai, Isuzu UTE, LDV and MG, ensuring vehicles move efficiently through the workshop while maintaining strong productivity, quality and customer satisfaction outcomes.

About the Role Working alongside our Service Management team, you will be responsible for:
·       Managing workshop loading and daily workflow
·       Allocating repair orders and monitoring technician capacity
·       Assisting technicians with job prioritisation and technical support
·       Controlling workshop productivity and efficiency
·       Managing work in progress (WIP) and reducing aged repair orders
·       Ensuring customer promised times are achieved
·       Working closely with Service Advisors to provide accurate vehicle updates
·       Supporting warranty and manufacturer processes across five brands
·       Driving a positive workshop culture focused on teamwork and accountability

 

About You
·       Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Foreman or Senior Technician
·       Strong organisational and leadership skills
·       Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
·       Excellent communication skills
·       High attention to detail
·       Current driver's licence
